The historic old wall that once divided the area from Rua de S. Roque da Lameira has been removed, giving rise to a vibrant public square.
The intervention program foresees the complete reconversion of the complex, maintaining its historical memory and architectural nature.
The complex features a set of industrial pavilions that are transformed into independent office buildings.
This project allows each occupier to have its own office building. This set of isolated buildings are inserted in a qualified space with an unusual characteristic.
As a creative space for leisure, entertainment and culture open to the city and the community. Távora Sequeira Pinto’s collection will be part of the future extension of the City Museum.
It includes more than 1,100 pieces such as paintings, sculptures, among other types of pieces and works.
One of the fundamental points of this project will be the construction of a pedestrian walkway, which will cross the project from end to end, connecting over the Via de Cintura Interna (VCI) and Dragão Metro Station.
This channel will make it possible to give daily life to the space, introducing a city experience and not closing off the ecosystem. In this sense, M-odu creates Porto's great covered street, from which a new city develops, capable of serving as a great driver of the eastern zone.
The extension of Porto Municipality Gallery to a new hub aims to reveal how the artistic life in Porto exists in dialogue and exchange with a vibrant and up-to-date international context, realising its cosmopolitan calling and aspiration through bridging contemporary art exhibitions and events.

The Food and Drinks areas have been designed to meet the specific needs of each operator and are ready to accommodate the thousands of people who will work at and visit M-odu daily. All spaces are adaptable to accommodate the diverse organizational needs of the companies present.
There will also be a kiosk to complement the space's offerings.
The 3rd Police Division of the Metropolitan Command of Porto will also have a designated space here for the new facilities.
